Meetings

Dinner meetings for 2013 will be held on January 3, February 7, March 7, April 4, May 2, June 6, September 5, October 3, November 7, and December 5, at 6:30 PM at the Canaan Senior Center.

Business meetings for 2013 will be held on January 31, February 28, March 28, April 25, May 30, June 27, July 25, August 29, September 26, October 24, November 14, and December 19, at 7:00 PM at the American Legion in Canaan.

American Red Cross Blood Drive sponsored by the Canaan Lions Club: 

St. Mary's Parish Hall, Canaan  1 PM  -  6 PM - August 22, 2011 October 31, 2011, January 9, 2012, March 5, 2012, April 30, 2012, & June 25, 2012.

 The Canaan Lions Health Closet is a service for anyone who needs equipment.  All equipment in the Health Closet has been donated.  There is no charge for the use of the equipment and no time limit.  The Canaan Lions do accept donations to help pay for delivery expenses.  A partial listing of items include:

Hospital beds and mattresses

Bed side tables

Wheel chairs, both electric and manual

Many different kids of walkers, canes and crutches

Bath stools, bath transfer benches

Commode chairs and elevated toilet seats

Blood pressure monitors

Cryo-Cuff units for shoulder, knee and foot

Hand grab bars and rails
