Rider Information

If you raced in 2009 and plan on racing the same classes your number is grandfathered, if you change classes you may have to change your bike number, check on-line for bike numbers in the class you which to race in @ http://www.canaanlionsclub.org/motocross/rider_point_totals  Then go to the Trackside Logo.

To help the volunteer members that assist the Lions Club Motocross with implementing racers into the new database system it would be appreciated if all riders could send the registration form attached with all information filled out and if possible with the $30.00 Association Fee. Mail to Canaan Lions Club, PO Box, Canaan NH 03741 before May 1, 2010, all checks made out to Canaan Lions Club. If you do not have a Transponder number please still send in the form so that the riders name, classes to enter,  and bike number can be enter into the new system. Registration:

 

Registration begins at 6:00 a.m.  All riders will be required to register in the Canaan Motocross Association prior to registering for any races.

 

IMPORTANT: YOU MUST HAVE A PHOTO ID OR BIRTH CERTIFICATE WITH YOU AT THE TIME OF REGISTRATION.

Consent:

Riders under 18 years of age must have a signed and notarized Parental Consent Form. For your convenience, we will have a notary on-site.

Numbers:

Numbers must be legible at the start of each race. Numbers must be on the right side, left side, and front of the bike. Protests of scores will not be allowed if numbering is illegible or inconsistent. All riders are required to confirm to these regulations. All numbers must be at least 8" in height, with the exception of 50CC, which must be at least 6" in height.

Flags & Markers:

Green Flag - Start
Yellow Flag - Caution - no passing until beyond hazard
Black Flag - Rider disqualification
Red Flag - All racing stops immediately and wait for further instructions
Crossed Flags - race completed
Checkered & White Flags - 2 laps remaining
White Flag - 1 lap remaining
Checkered Flag - Finish
